A selection of models of the MoLFormer family are generative foundation models, named CogMol (Controlled generation of Molecules), that allow target property-guided generation of new molecule candidates, which are further ranked using specific (predicted) secondary properties. Here, we demonstrate the generations for three such use-cases, where the generative model was subject to the task of generating novel inhibitor molecules for three different drug targets. Generations for SARS-CoV-2 drug targets have been validated in wet lab, proving the broad utility and efficacy of CogMol in generating new and functional molecules. After selecting a target,a molecule from the generation set can be sampled and it's closest neighbors from the generation set can be analyzed.
